New for 2009! Continuing to break new ground, Big Agnes has taken patented BOA lacing reels and applied it to its new 3-person backpacking/camping tent, the Slide Mountain SL 3. In the process, they've created the first integrated Fly Tensioning System, allowing you to cut down on the flapping of your rainfly in blustery conditions! Used fairly extensively in trail running shoes, the twin BOA lacing reels are imbedded on the ceiling of the Slide Mountain SL 3 so that you can make micro adjustments to the tension of the rainfly without ever having to leave the interior of the tent. Extremely durable and lightweight, tensioning cords lead from the reels to the corner points of the tent. Eco-friendly anodized DAC Combination NSL Featherlite poles provide structure and the basis for fly tension.
